Promoting the restoration of old soil extraction sites and the use of rock aggregate and substitute materials.
STATE OF IMPLEMENTATION
Implementation has started. (All the elements of the measure have been completed both in terms of time and at all planned locations. If a measure consists of an unlimited continuum of measures, a measure can be regarded as having been completed once the first sub-measure has been completed.)
The state and restoration needs of old gravel extraction sites have been assessed in the SOKKA project. In land use planning, increased attention is paid to geological sites that are valuable for the landscape and nature conservation. A report and GIS data set on blockfield sites of national value were completed in 2019. Based on the inventory, 472 blockfields were considered nationally valuable.
