Raisioaqua has brought the Baltic Blend fish feed to the market. In addition, the other fish feeds and feeding methods developed have enabled a significant reduction in nutrient loads. Operating procedures have been created for the introduction of a load-based environmental permit in marine areas, and feeds have been developed to reduce the specific load. The aquaculture innovation programme has developed technologies and artificial intelligence solutions, as well as statistical models, to optimise feed use and reduce losses.
