DESCRIPTION OF ACTION
The project examines and develops a process, ready to be used for production, to recycle fractions obtained from farm animal manure by chemical, bacteriological and thermal treatments for use in stables, cowsheds, fields and elsewhere in communities. This will reduce the amount of waste significantly and provide opportunities for profitable bio-business based on waste-based raw materials. In addition to manure, the waste-based raw materials studied include waste gypsum from domestic production plants. It is used to convert the very nutrient-rich solution obtained in the process into a granular form, which is easier to commercialise.
