The targeting of water protection measures in agriculture at high-risk field plots in terms of water protection in the Archipelago Sea and Bothnian Sea catchments (KOTOMA)

DESCRIPTION OF ACTION

The KOTOMA project developed the targeting of water protection measures in agriculture by applying geographic information and erosion data. As a result, a GIS data set covering the entire country and an erosion data set on field plots, RUSLE2015, were produced, mainly for use by authorities. The data sets can be used for identifying the best buffer zone areas, for example.

The data sets were extended to cover the entire country during summer 2019
