DESCRIPTION OF ACTION
The competition seeks to provide information on more environmentally friendly farming methods and recognise farmers who are forerunners in the use of methods that reduce the eutrophication of water bodies. In the competition, a national winner is first selected in each country around the Baltic Sea and then the regional winner is selected from amongst them.
In 2019, the national winner in Finland was the Hammarudda farm in Åland, managed by Tage and Ulla Eriksson. The competition will be organised for the ninth time in 2020.
