DESCRIPTION OF ACTION
DTS have developed a recycling method that makes it possible to manufacture organic waste into a ready-to-use nutrient rich soil improving substance.
The project found out that the method is very suitable for treatment of e.g. manure, organic sludge and food waste. The method is mechanical, and it can produce organic waste very fast, even in 24h, into a safe, almost odorless, organic, nutrient rich, fine grained and dry, and clean end product. Depending on which waste component is used, the end product can be used as soil-improvement, recycled nutrients, fiber, and even as a basis for fodder. Based on its properties, the method was renamed and called a microthermal method, or process.
Mechanical treatment makes it possible to grind the product into grains which can be stored in sacks which makes it easy to store, transport and spread it which also makes it economically profitable.
