Nutrient cycle in the resorts of the Turku Archipelago (SaaRa)

DESCRIPTION OF ACTION

The aim of the SaaRa project is to ensure that the nutrient cycle is as efficient as possible in the resorts of the Turku Archipelago in order to prevent nutrient loading and leaching caused by tourism. The project encourages tourists to pay attention to the treatment of their waste, especially to food loss and the treatment of food waste in the archipelago, where waste management is challenging and the environment is sensitive. Concrete measures include the preparation of a quality manual for restaurants.
