Pyrolysis to recycle nutrients contained in sewage sludge (Lietehiili)

DESCRIPTION OF ACTION

The aim of the project is to promote the recycling of carbon and nutrients contained in wastewater by studying how the conditions of the pyrolysis process affect the quality of the end product and its suitability for various applications. The applications studied include the use of biochar as a soil improver and fertiliser. The project will apply industrial-scale advanced pyrolysis technology (pilot plant).
