DESCRIPTION OF ACTION
The project developed the productisation of fertiliser products suitable for organic farming produced by a proven dry digestion biogas plant and piloted the use of collected aquatic vegetation in the biogas production process. As nutrients are removed with the vegetation collected for use, this improves the state of water bodies. In particular, phosphorus can be captured reasonably effectively. Of the aquatic plant species studied, the common club-rush was the best in terms of nutrients and biogas production. Soil improvers were further developed based on experiences from users.
