DESCRIPTION OF ACTION
With support from the project, WWF prepared a meat guide for consumers, which also encourages them to adopt a Baltic Sea-friendly diet. As part of the work, WWF seeks to increase consumers’ awareness and present options for more sustainable consumption and production. “Let’s eat the Baltic Sea clean!” ended before 2017, but work on the meat guide continues. The WWF has also participated in the preparation of criteria for meat produced in natural pasture areas to enhance the sustainability of meat production.
