DESCRIPTION OF ACTION
The effects of food and food production on climate and the environment are also covered by the work of the HINKU network. Through the HINKU, FISU and CIRCWASTE networks, the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) cooperates directly with some 60 municipalities/towns/cities as well as institutions and businesses operating in them. The pioneering municipalities involved in the network implement various experiments, pilot new solutions and actively share information with other actors.
