Gypsum treatment of fields in the Archipelago Sea catchment (KIPSI)

DESCRIPTION OF ACTION

The KIPSI project will be implemented in the clay fields in the catchment area of the Archipelago Sea. The project is coordinated by the ELY Centre for Southwest Finland. The aim of the project is to treat 50,000–80,000 hectares of fields with gypsum to reduce topsoil erosion and phosphorus runoff to waters.
