DESCRIPTION OF ACTION
The aim of the project is to improve the Natura 2000 network of coastal and archipelagic habitats and the conservation status of the species included in the Habitats and Bird Directives by implementing active management and restoration measures. The project will draw up two management and use plans for Natura 2000 sites, taking into account the marine environment. Underwater mappings will be carried out to support the plans. In addition, the project will seek to make management and use plans consistent with the management and use recommendations and guidelines issued for HELCOM marine protected areas (MPAs).
